A Clan with secrets to hide.
A Clan with a sinister streak.
And a gang who are not what they seem.
With war looming on the horizon, loyalties are tested and families are torn apart. In this world of light and shadow, everyone has something to hide.
Here Only one thing is certain, only one clan will survive.
The Wildflower meadow was certainly the most eye appealing place in Breezeclan, by far. And one could hardly say it wasn’t practical, either. In Greenleaf it was abundant with mice, voles and rabbits, and this season was certainly no exception. Even birds would swoop down in order to pick up seeds and grains here and there. The buzzing of insects was a constant drone one could admittedly come to enjoy after a while, adding ambient noise to the otherwise peaceful silence. Sure, it could be a little dangerous to the younger generation if a hawk or owl were to swoop in after mice, however kits remained in camp, and young apprentices were not without company. If they were, they might not know it but they still had a watchful eye or two on them. Sorrelstar made sure of that. She refused to see any member of her clan brought to harm because she wasn’t taking precautions.
Sighing in soft contentment, the calico leader strolled with calm regality through the meadow. She did not need the hold herself in such stiff confidence here, she could walk with ease of mind and simply enjoy her surroundings. This was a peaceful place, and the only disruption would be from her own clanmates, one she would gladly welcome. In fact, as she strolled amongst the grass and wildflowers, she wondered briefly why it was she did not bring a companion. Perhaps it was simply she felt like being alone, if only for a moment.
Finding a nice spot in the sun with devine smelling flowers, Sorrelstar simply couldn’t resist. Glancing up at the sun’s position in the sky, just to check how long she had before she might be missed back at camp, the caliby molly lowered herself to the ground, the sun pleasantly warming her back. Trilling a soft purr, the molly rolled onto her back amongst the flowers and arched back her head, letting the scents wash over her as before she blinked up at the sky through a glowing emerald gaze. The golden rays warmed her snow-touched underbelly, and her purr rumbled again. Yes. This was nice.
Of course, her quiet enjoyment of the peace and serenity provided by the sunlit meadow was cut short by the sound of pawsteps. Ears twitching, the caliby rolled onto her stomach and raised her head, curiously parting her jaws to taste the air even as she glanced in the direction of the approaching pawsteps. It wasn’t hard to spot the approachee in such an open field.
