A Clan with secrets to hide.
A Clan with a sinister streak.
And a gang who are not what they seem.
With war looming on the horizon, loyalties are tested and families are torn apart. In this world of light and shadow, everyone has something to hide.
Here Only one thing is certain, only one clan will survive.
The air was crisp and the humility was fairly was high. This made for very stuffy and hot greenleaf day. The ginger she-cat, Sunpaw stared at the tree before her. Minutes seemed like hours. The time around her seemed running slowly, at least in her mind. Her mission assigned by her mentor was to get stick at the top of the tree and bring it back to camp. It hopes it would rib her of her fear of heights. However, it was doing the extract opposite.
“I-I.” Her muscle tensed refusing to move as she tried inch crosser, paws feeling heavier than ever before and heart beating like a drum.”I can’t do it!” She sighed in defeat."I will never become a warrior."
Your positive action combined with positive thinking results in success.
Sorrelstar wasn’t the sort of leader to just stick around camp doing nothing all day. it would be so easy on such a sweltering day to let her clanmates bring her food and water whilst she napped in the sun. Perhaps that’s what those that didn’t know her might think. But no. Sorrelstar was just as much a clan member as anyone else, and she would act like one. And that meant hunting and patrolling, even on days like this. So, despite only having been leader for a few days now, Sorrelstar was making her impressions. Today was no exception. In fact, she started today off by going on a border patrol, before overseeing the battle training of a pair of apprentices and their mentors, assessing their capability. They certainly had impressed her, and that by far put her in a good mood.
And now? Now she was hunting. She even had a thrush and a mouse to prove it, the thrush buried nearby and the mouse freshly killed in her jaws. Long tail whisking swiftly behind her, the caliby molly straightened and padded calmly toward the roots of a tree, where she buried the still warm body of her prey. Satisfied that its scent was hidden, Sorrelstar was about to scent out something else to catch, or perhaps simply return to camp, when a voice reached her ears. Frowning, she pricked them to listen.
“I can’t do it! I will never become a warrior."
Sorrelstar knew that voice. Whiskers twitching, the molly tasted the air to confirm her suspicions. ’Sunpaw.’ Frowning, the caliby weaved her way closer to the apprentice, emerald eyes narrowing slightly as she spotted her all but trembling near a tree. “Well, most certainly not with that attitude.” Her voice is firm, but in no way harsh. And then her gaze softens and she approaches the younger molly with a small gentle smile.
“You needn’t have any fear, Sunpaw. Just take your time.” Reaching the apprentice, Sorrelstar ducked her head and gently nudged her with Sunpaw toward the tree. “Would you like me to help you? I am quite fond of climbing, I’ll admit.” There was no way Sorrelstar was going to let a Breezeclan apprentice give up that easily, not under her watch.
aria (Heeey, thought I’d throw my lass at this lonely little thread, since she’s everywhere right now XD)
